SEO Content Specialist

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some Agency experience or worked on multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with WordPress: 1 year
  • Experienced with Google Analytics

We are seeking a full-time SEO Content Specialist to be responsible for On-Page optimization on client sites, creating content such as blogs and webpage copy, keyword research, and understanding Google Business Profile.

The right candidate will multitask across diverse environments, communicate with clients and internal team members, and be dynamic enough to learn new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Using our SEO management tool, you will run initial diagnostics on each account to determine what needs to be done to get the site ranking in the SERPs.
  • Defining and building keyword lists based on clients’ objectives and market opportunities, using a mix of proprietary tools and analytics data.
  • Running keyword analysis from google analytics to determine common trends based on long-tail traffic. This analysis will allow the client to rank for additional keywords.
  • Preparing and executing on-page optimization strategies to achieve organic visibility for our clients.
  • Reviewing web analytics data to provide feedback to our internal team on performance and to analyze visitor behavior and trends to develop the next steps.
  • Coordinating regularly with our website development, SEM, design, and business development teams and senior management to ensure that clients are getting positive results.
  • Collaborate with content and outreach team to help identify opportunities to create, distribute, and promote web content.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Utilize Google Analytics, Search Console, SEM Rush, and other tools to produce actionable insights, such as determining any trends or issues that need to be addressed on each site – high bounce rate percentage, low traffic, spammy referral sites, etc.
  • Prepare a customized End of Month SEO Report that explains where the client is currently ranking, what we will be focusing on, and how we will adjust our strategy.

Minimum Requirements

  • MUST be on the East Coast Time Zone. We prefer a North Carolina resident.
  • Experience with search engine optimization best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Experience with website optimization tools
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to show examples of work or verbally explain a project.

Web Hosting System Administrator

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s
  • Linux: 2 years

We are seeking a part-time Systems Administrator to support our hosting and other technical client needs. You would be working and consulting on the technical operations of the business which includes server maintenance, software installation, and configuration. This position is perfect to gain valuable experience in a variety of technologies and learn more about the inner workings of an agency.

The Role

You have a strong knowledge of web hosting which allows you to debug, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues. You are comfortable working on both Windows and Linux operating systems and generally grasp networking concepts. With your technical skills, you are very friendly and professional when assisting customers with their hosting and email services.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of previous web hosting experience (Admin, Reseller, or intermediate User)
  • Firm understanding of Linux and basic server operations
  • Knowledge of Linux web hosting software such as Apache, NGINX and MySQL
  • General understanding of server virtualization on both private and public cloud
  • Email servers – create email accounts – SPF, DKIM, DMARC as well
  • Server experience – moving websites on servers
  • Server updates when needed
  • Monitor and resolve issues (load / peak spikes)
  • Handle cPanel/WHM for client sites
  • Understanding of S3 Storage operations
  • DNS Records

Desired Skills:

  • Can use creative problem-solving skills to effectively and efficiently address issue.

  • Linux, Microsoft and/or Cisco Certifications
  • CCNA Certification
  • AWS, GCP or AZURE Certifications
